Car Privacy Curtain

Purchased this to use with a 2018 Honda CRV and it did not work well with the shape of the front seats. Would only have been effective if used infront of the front seats. However, I don’t want to adjust both seats every night to use this product. Bummed because it seems like the best in the market. If you don’t have a CRV, give it a try! Material and anchoring points are solid, set up is easy.

I have a Toyota 4Runner that I camp in, and privacy has always been an issue. So I was really excited to see this product offered and ordered it. Unfortunately the first one I received had the straps installed backwards, which meant they wouldn’t tighten and the curtain would sag. I sent it back, got a replacement, and that one had backward straps too! Finally the third one I received had the straps correctly installed, along with apologies and a discount from Luno. I have to say now that I have a working version this is one of my favorite Luno products. It makes the rear sleeping area feel very private and sealed off from the rest of the world. Just what I was looking for.

We used the video and instructions to install the curtains, and they were not functional. Any movement of the curtains caused the string line that holds them up loosen completely, thus making this design completely useless. We spent a few hours attempting to remedy the issue on our own, before contacting support. About 48 hours later, I was sent the following message:

"Thank you for reaching out! This is a known manufacturing error we have been working to correct where some of the clips are installed backward and need to be rethreaded the correct way. We apologize that your unit was affected. I've attached a video on how to quickly fix the issue. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions."

Cool... So you all continued to sell a product with a known defect, without informing paying customers prior to sale, and you then just wait for people to complain to you before providing a solution? Absolutely moronic move. If I could give this company and this product ZERO stars, I would.

I have a 5th Gen 4Runner, and ran into an install issue. If I used the loops on the R handles, the curtain would be in front of the headrests. If I used the F handles, the buckles end up in a bad spot (and the handles get pulled down into the way.)

So - if you hit this - here's an option. I cut the loops off and freed the plastic buckle. Pull everything off the main strap, add the buckle first, then the rest. You are basically making the main harness ends into girth hitches vs separate ones that attach to handles.

Now you're just clipping and tightening the curtain directly to the pillars. Simple!
