Luno x EcoCart: Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary
We're excited to highlight the EcoCart project we're proudly supporting in 2024: the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary in Eastern Cambodia. This sanctuary boasts a remarkable diversity of wildlife, landscapes, and indigenous communities. Cambodia faces significant deforestation challenges, making this project vital. It empowers indigenous communities by granting land titles and employing locals as rangers to combat illegal activities and monitor endangered species.
Remarkably, the sanctuary sequesters over 75 million tonnes of CO2e, equivalent to the annual fossil CO2 emissions of both New Zealand and Switzerland combined.
Each time a customer purchases an EcoCart carbon offset credit at checkout, they’re contributing to the preservation of this invaluable area. Join us in protecting the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary!

Project ReRoam: Celebrating 6 Months!
Project ReRoam is Luno’s upcycling program, where we take the rare defective mattress that gets sent back to us and repurpose it into new gear! Partnering with local Bend business, Tailgate Industries, defective Luno mattresses get turned into outdoor ground mats, gear totes, dog bowls, and more! It’s been just over 6-months since ReRoam launched, and we could not be more proud of the amount of waste we’ve been able to divert from the landfill during this time (1,070.69 lbs saved from the landfill so far!)
Breakdown of each product’s upcycled material content:
- Collapsible Dog Bowl: 82%
- Gear Tote: 91%
- Outdoor Ground Mat: 98.5%
- Medium Outdoor Ground Mat: 97%
- Firewood Carrier: 93%

Event Recap: Ski For All in Bend, OR
On March 16, the Luno team made their way up to Mount Bachelor for Oregon Adaptive Sports’ biggest fundraiser of the year: Ski For All. Oregon Adaptive Sports is a premiere adaptive sports foundation that creates access to over 2,000 high-quality outdoor experiences each year for more than 400 unique individuals. Ski For All is an all-abilities OAS event where skiers and boarders are challenged to have the #BestDayEver on snow through a series of challenges throughout the day, ending with raffle drawings and an awards ceremony at Bend Brewing Co.
This year, Luno proudly supported the event by donating funds through our Car[e] Camping Program and providing a gear package for the raffle. A few Luno team members also formed a team to compete in the games themselves! The day was filled with sunshine, spring skiing, glorious views of the Cascades, and celebrating community – all while dressed up in Super Mario Bros. costumes!
B-Corp Update
Aligning with our core value of “Act Responsibly & Thoughtfully'', Luno is committed to becoming a certified B-Corp by 2030! In order to be eligible for the B Corporation certification, Luno must meet a high standard of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability, then ultimately verified by B Lab – a transnational nonprofit that works to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet. Earth Day Coming Up
Mark your calendars because one of our favorite annual events of the year is right around the corner - Earth Day! On April 22 over 1 billion people will demonstrate support for environmental protection and here’s how we plan to celebrate at Luno:
- Throughout the month of April, Luno will offset the carbon emitted from your vehicle during any camping trips. Simply send a photo of your camp set up & miles driven to hello@lunolife.com. Through gold standard initiatives, we’ll ensure we give more to the planet than we take.
- For those shopping on Earth Day, Ecocart will match any carbon offset added to your purchase.
