There's many pros to this air mattress and few cons but the main con of it being too firm for me might make this mattress not work
Cons:
- Too Firm - I'm a side sleeper and kept waking up with numb fingers, ribs, hip. This happens to me when I'm sleeping on something too firm and unfortunately this air mattress fell into that category. I tried deflating it a bit but the weight of my hip would push the air up towards my ribs so it wasn't a good solution. I'm hoping I can find some kind of foam pad to put on top of it that might be the solution but I'm also trying to not bring big bulky items when I go camping
- Doesn't Account for Hump - The back of the newer Subaru Foresters don't lay flat, there is a hump. This air mattress doesn't account for that. I have a platform for the back of my car so I was able to put the mattress on a flat surface but it would be cool if this mattress had taken into account the hump
- Lack of support - There is a lack of support for the side of the mattress that goes by the door. I ended up shoving a pillow and a blanket on the side to help prevent me from rolling into the door. That worked out fine for me but otherwise I kept finding myself falling towards the door
Pros:
- Well Made - The mattress is a nice thick material that doesn't feel like it's going to pop. The inflate and deflate valves are awesome and it's really easy to set up and take down
- Squares for the footwell - The cubes for the footwells are great, super happy that those are…
